Dawn is a native, British English speaker who has many years experience teaching General English and Medical English.
Dawn was a Registered Nurse and worked in the healthcare profession: the National Health System (NHS) and the private sector for many years. The knowledge and experience she gained have enabled her to teach Medical English to a wide range of medical professionals, including: Consultants, General Practitioners (GPs), Doctors, Dentists, Medical Students, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Medical Sales Representatives, Medical Translators, Hospital Administrators and other health care professionals.
Dawn has over twenty years of experience teaching English as a Foreign language (EFL) at British Council-accredited schools in the UK. She has taught executives, adults, private students and children in the United Kingdom. She has worked at Bournemouth University and taught overseas in south-east Asia and Europe.
Dawn completed the Return to Practice (Nursing) Programme at Bournemouth University to update her medical knowledge and skills, and she has recently worked in the private medical sector.
Dawn has taught Medical English to professionals who work in hospitals, clinics, private companies and medical students around the globe.
